MAC Archie's Girls Blush: Cream Soda

Cream Soda is from the 'Betty' half of the collection. It's a satin finish peach. It's actually fairly pigmented and doesn't feel dry. I think it's a great Spring color! I'm happy with this purchase.

bareMinerals The Natural High Blush swatch

The Natural High was released as part of bareMinerals' Spring Remix launch. It's a pretty, shimmery peachy pink. It's not so shimmery as to emphasize pores, but gives a nice glow. It can be built up in intensity, so it should work in a variety of skin tones.

MAC Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder

When I heard MAC was releasing a Marilyn Monroe inspired collection, I could barely contain my excitement. Visions of soft, matte shadows and red lips raced through my brain... Imagine my disappointment when I saw very shimmery shadows. The lip colors are stunning, but I missed out. I so wish MAC would have adequate supply to meet demand...

Anyway, I did get the beauty powder, Forever Marilyn. It's a light peachy pink with very subtle shimmer. (YAY for not emphasizing pores!) It can be a bit chalky if you are heavy handed. So far, I really like this. It's not an everyday product for me, but fun to own!

MAC Office Hours Shadows: Linger Softly and Fashion Fix

MAC released there Office Hours collection a couple weeks ago and I wasn't sure I would pick up anything. Quite a few of the initial reviews I saw were less than favorable...but I have a hard time resisting so I gave the shadows a swatch. I ended up with two: Linger Softly (a blue grey) and Fashion Fix (a taupe).

Linger Softly is really pretty. It has a soft sheen to it and looks lovely as a crease or outer V color.

Fashion Fix is matte and goes on fairly sheer. It can be built up for more opaque coverage.

I do believe these are permanent. These are part of the long wear line and I haven't had issues with wear over a primer.

Swatches below are on bare skin, two swipes of color.
