Benefit Creaseless Creme Shadows

I love creme eyeshadow. They are (generally) easy to use and can double as a primer.

Benefit makes an amazing creme eyeshadow. It's long wearing, comes in great colors, and is reasonably priced at $19.

These shadows really don't crease on me; doesn't matter if I wear them over a primer or on their own either. I have two shades; Birthday Suit and Skinny Jeans.

Birthday Suit is an antique gold, one of my favorite colors. Skinny Jeans is pewter with a touch of blue. These two are beautiful colors!

Smashbox Limitless 15 Hour Wear Cream Shadow: Gemstone

Whew! That's a long name! I recently grabbed up one of these cream eyeshadows (I've been on a cream shadow kick lately) in the shade Gemstone. Gemstone is a pretty purple-ish bronze with a bit of shimmer. I wore this without primer and it did fairly well! It looked slightly faded/creased after 12 hours. Not bad! Not 15 hours, but not bad.

I really do like this formula and will be grabbing a couple lighter colors soon. Color is a but more purple than the pics show.

MAC Cremesheen + Pearl

I picked up two of the new (permanent) Cremesheen lipsticks. I have worn each of them once and love them. Cremesheen lipsticks are generally a bit sheerer in color payoff and have a glossy finish.

I have Coral Bliss and Japanese Maple. Coral Bliss is a really pretty pinky coral (the swatches are after several passes on my arm). Japanese Maple is a nice, pinky nude.

I swatched similar colors from my collection and found that Cut a Caper is nearly identical to Coral Bliss. The picture with 5 swatches is l-r Blossom Culture, Cut a Caper, Coral Bliss, Japanese Maple, You're Perfect Already. (all MAC)

New Additions....Just a Quick Post

Just wanted to show my two newest additions! First is the NARS single in Lhasa, a gorgeous grey, purple, taupe. I missed this when it was released last fall, so happy they made it permanent.
Second, is the NARS duo in Vent Glacé. This is new for Fall 2013 and I believe it's permanent. A beautiful combo of shimmery silver and pewter.
